Our Story

Hi, I'm Steven. I've been a qualified mortgage and protection adviser since 2010. After spending over a decade in the banking, estate agency, and corporate finance sectors, I realised something was missing: a genuinely personal touch.

The mortgage process can be incredibly stressful, filled with confusing jargon and endless red tape. I founded Simply Mortgages to change that. My goal has always been to take the worry out of finding the right finance, delivering impartial, honest advice in a friendly and professional way.

But Simply Mortgages isn't just me, it's very much a family affair. I built this business side-by-side with my wife, Emma, who is our Operations Director and the organisational backbone that keeps everything running smoothly for our clients.

When we aren't scanning the market for the best mortgage rates, our hands are full with our lovely daughter, Ella, our very energetic Golden Retriever, Willow, and our two undeniably mischievous pygmy goats, Cinnamon and Stripe! We understand how important home and family are, because they mean everything to us too.
